I wanna describe something that i saw happening, right in my own locality... and i am ashamed of it...
I was up on the terrace, right after a nice, refreshing shower... and the whole place was really pleasant and cool to my eyes and i felt happy and glad that my environment was so pleasant :)
But, i lifted up my eyes and looked on ahead, in the distance, just maybe two or three streets further down, there was some factory or something, which was giving out thick, very thick clouds of black smoke.. I felt sooooo irritated that they were spoiling the lovely smell of the rain, all around. It was happeneing right before my own eyes, very close to my house, still what was i able to do, but look at this ugly sight, in utter disappointment and with a heavy heart. :(
How awesome it was, when the surrounding was pure and clean and smelt good, of rain...until the smoke came and spoilt it all, it was not only spoiling that particular area alone, but instead, there was a breeze, as a result of which, the smoke was spreading quickly, & in 5 minutes, this black smoke had covered up alomst that whole stretch of area... and i was a little glad, that the wind was not towards the direction of my house, instead it was in another direction... so i wasnt directly affected. But anyhow , how can i rejoice when, this smoke had polluted my city? it doesnt make much difference if i am directly affected or not, all that matters to me, is that, my city was affected and i am affected due to this.
It was taking away the smell of rain and also making the whole place look black and dirty, and that too, immediately after the rains had made everything look greener... why is this happening? I am so powerless to do anything.. :(
When will i see an end to all this misery?
